Prosper is a researcher, policy analyst, and a values driven leader with over 7 years of experience in advocacy around legislation, policy review and formulation, child rights, migration and refugee rights, youth inclusion and good governance within the Eastern African region. He possesses over 7 years’ experience in advising UN agencies, government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), National and International Non-Governmental Organizations on Policy formulation, advocacy and implementation; research; resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement.
He has a widely experienced in legislative advocacy, facilitating high level engagements and lobby meetings with policy makers and legislators. He is an expert in pre and post legislative scrutiny and has supported many local and international organizations develop policy and advocacy strategies.
He has served as National co- chair Girls Not Brides Uganda;- a consortium of 103 Organizations working to end child marriage. He sits on the Board of Directors of Action Aid and is also a member of different boards, coalitions and partnerships.
Prosper holds a degree in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University Kampala and a Masters of Public Policy Analysis and Governance of Uganda Management Institute (UMI).
